Job Responsibilities   One Of The BIG 4 Professionally Managed CA Firms. Reporting to the Partner the incumbent shall be responsible for Executing assignments. Take decisions relating to client service which are within predefined scope of work and keep the Partner informed. In critical matters involving technical, financial, commercial or client perception issues, refer the case to the senior level. Signing off time reports of QAs and Staff accountants. Allocating staff members including administrative staff within the group to various assignments reorganize staff work and exercise full control over staff reporting. Sanctioning client related expenses, chargeable expenses and other on the job expenses. Recommending training programmes for staff. Performance reviews for QAs and Staff accountants. Supervising the work of the team in the execution of assignments to meet time schedules and quality standards. Setting priorities, assign tasks and manage a team of staff in executing projects. Addressing problems and issues, appraise Partners of the progress, problems and risks (if any). Assuming overall responsibility for control, documentation and technical issues. Anglicizing technical inputs, conceptualize solutions, prepare reports, opinions and presentations. Preparing /getting prepared the first draft of job engagements. Communicating with the clients, raising new issues with clients, taking charge of client meetings. Representing on behalf of clients before regulatory authorities. Managing client perceptions with respect to the project. Interacting with the Partner on work related issues. Maintaining and updating information bases, knowledge requirements for the group. Raising invoices and following -up for collections. Be a coach/ mentor and provide feedback to staff. Responsible for technical training on the job-design, development and delivery. Manage staff grievance on work related issues. Interact with Partners on staff related problems. Performance reviews for QAs and Staff accountants. Keeping abreast of new developments in the profession, the industry, the regulatory and business environment. Build a good network with peers and professionals. Conduct in-house technical training presentations. Business development / Relationship development. Identify and keep seniors apprised of opportunities to market the services. Generate ideas for structuring transactions, or for marketing specific ideas. Develop and maintain excellent client relations. Source new clients. Spot and identify potential assignments from jobs. Develop contacts with regulatory authorities. Maintain cross-office interaction. Initiate cross - group interaction. He shall be Overall responsible for the execution of the assignments within schedule. CA. Additionally, a degree in law/CFA/CS would be preferred. With relevant experience in handling transactions from a regulatory perspective. Should possess Technical skills. Conceptual skills. Managerial skills. Commercial acumen. Business perspective. Project management skills. Negotiation skills. Leadership skills. Business writing and presentation skills. Good business knowledge, updated on regulatory and legal environment. Understanding of the clients industry and business. Clear understanding of economic and legal risks in an engagement. Good networking skills and standing in the professional community. Above average skills with computers/ability to leverage Infotech to achieve results. Should be a team player.
